St. Pius X Parish in Billings completed another year of Pak-A-Kid for School. A Ministry of the Christian Service Commission, this project supplies the school supply need of students associated with the Angela’s Piazza, Family Promise and parish families. This year members of the Commission distributed 130 filled backpacks; moreover, the parish donated boxes of loose supplies that will benefit schools with low-income families. Pictured here are long-time coordinators Doug and Donna Dierenfield. They have made it their personal mission to shop for backpacks, assemble the school supply lists and tag each backpack for a specific student.
