A new section of the cemetery (section G) has opened within the last 2 years at Mount Olivet and burials have already begun to take place. It is an upright monument section and accommodates family gravesites to include either 2 or 4 graves and there is a row set aside for those that would like a single grave with an upright monument. Section G is located across the road from the cemetery office at the northeast corner of the cemetery. Several gravesites have already been purchased in reserve and the popularity of the location is growing. There is also a row alongside the road, on the south side of section G, that is set aside for Family Columbariums. This is a newer product we are offering for those preferring an above ground cremation burial in their private columbarium. Because they are above ground, the Family Columbariums double as a beautiful upright monument.
The McLaughlin Chapel will be available, this summer, to anyone wanting to schedule the chapel for their committal service. Please contact Eric Spragg at the cemetery office for available times and cost.
For those interested in pre-planning their burial needs, please contact Eric to schedule an appointment. The process is very relaxed and simple, and Interest free payment plans are available. If any school or group is interested in scheduling a tour or field trip to either Mount Olivet or Calvary Cemetery, please call Eric as well. Grave location services are available for both cemeteries. Summer office hours are Mon. – Thur. 8:30-5:00 & Fri. 8-:30-noon unless otherwise noted.
