During the weekend of March 1-3 this year, eleven couples from all over Montana gathered at the Ursuline Centre in Great Falls to participate in Catholic Engaged Encounter. This enriching program for engaged couples is held twice a year in Great Falls, and once a year in Butte. A dedicated team of couples from this area, along with a priest or Bishop Warfel, give presentations on deepening faith and learning skills for a life-long union. The weekend creates an atmosphere for the couples to concentrate exclusively on each other, free from distractions, pressures, and interruptions of daily living – a “time out” away from home, friends, and wedding preparations. There is no group sharing, but a time for each couple to talk honestly and intensively about their future together. For more information, visit greatfallscee.org.
