Six members of Holy Spirit Parish Service Commission in Great Falls attended the Virtual Catholic Social Ministry Gathering February 6-9, 2021 at their parish. The event was hosted by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and sponsored by Catholic Charities USA, Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Bread for the World and the Catholic Health Association. Three areas of national, international, and migration were addressed that support the dignity of life in all stages from womb to tomb. Members watched and listened to speakers. Then they prepared personal 3 minute statements to advocate during conversations with the offices of Senators Daines and Tester. Lauren McCormack from the USCCB and Matt Brower from the MT Catholic Conference were also present.
