St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Harlem celebrated its 90th anniversary and the 120th anniversary of the first Catholic Church in Harlem, St. Stephen’s, on Sunday, July 10. Mass was celebrated by Coadjutor Bishop Jeffrey Fleming, followed by a picnic on the church lawn. This was a joyous event filled with a wonderful Mass, good food, church photos through the years, church history, and a gathering of parishioners, community members and former parishioners.
